I'd love to be in contact with anybody who served their when I did. I've lost touch of everyone and I don't have much memory of my past. I divorced years back and lost everything I had. I was a short timer and didn't deploy with my unit to Eniwetok. Does anyone remember me? I traveled around Hawaii with a couple of friends in an old ford comet with holes in the floor.

Caught your info searching for leper colonies! Spent some time volunteering for the French nuns with their ambulatory limb construction at the mission outside Qui Nhon. My the time has passed rapidly what memories that place has in my mind. One particular time is when the nuns served us, volunteers, a 7 course meal in appreciation for our help and donations. I've got the pictures, on their seaside veranda.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, good to know that others shared some pleasant experiences!

Sometime around the 23rd of June in 1971 while in DaNang we had incoming and one of the guys got hit.
We were assigned by the beach.
I'm wondering if anyone knows who that was and where I can reach him if possible.
